Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Clinic -
Pay:

Full-Time Salary: $104,000 - $124,800
Part-Time Salary: $52,00 - $62,400
Additional stipend for coverage

Shift/Hours Details:

Days Full-Time (Tues-Fri) 32 hours per week. (Tues 8a-5p, Wed 8a-5p, Thurs 8a-6p, Fri 8a-4p) 1 hour lunch. Direct patient care. Admin time is inclusive of salary with the allowance of 8 hours that may be performed via remote access which equated to a cumulative total of 40 hours.

Days Part-Time (Thurs-Fri) 16 hours per week. (Thurs 8a-6p, Fri 8a-4p) Direct patient care. Admin time is inclusive of salary with the allowance of 4 hours that may be performed via remote access which equates to a cumulative total of 20 hours.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Rural Health Clinic. As a Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling.

Responsibilities:

Perform physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent, and non-urgent presentations.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies as appropriate in collaboration with supervising physician.

Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans, vaccinations and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury in collaboration with supervising physician.

Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions.

Refers patients to PCP or specialist as appropriate.

Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections.

Qualifications:

Active APNP/PA license in the State of Texas

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program

Previous related experience in the above settings during employment and clinical rotations

Active DEA license

CPR certification
